WWII Japanese Type 30 Bayonet for Type 38 or 99 Arisaka Rifle - TALW Toyada Shokki Seisakusho Arsenal - Variation K - LB-143 - Very Nice Condition
Up for sale is a WWII Era Japanese Type 30 Bayonet for the Type 38 and Type 99 Rifle.  This bayonet has the TALW Toyada Jido Shokki Seisakusho Arsenal Markings.  It has the TALW Inspectors mark, Blue Fullered Blade, Two rivets in contoured wooden grips, Birdshead Pommel and Straight Qullion Crossguard.  A spot of minor pitting on the blade near the markings, see photo.  It has no evidence of excessive sharpening.  No nicks, no chips in the blade.  Some finish wear.  Wooden grips are nice, no cracks or breaks, a few minor nicks.  See photo's for condition.
This bayonet was commonly used with the Type 38 rifles/carbines and the Type 99 rifles.
