WWII Japanese Type 30 Bayonet for Type 38 or 99 Arisaka Rifle - Tokyo Hohei (Koishikawa) Kokura Arsenal - Variation A - LB-76 - Excellent ConditionUp for sale is a WWII Era Japanese Type 30 Bayonet for the Type 38 and Type 99 Rifle. This bayonet has the Kokura Arsenal Markings. It has the Tokyo Inspectors mark, Blued Fullered Blade, Two screws in contoured wooden grips, Birds Head Pommel and Hooked Qullion Crossguard. No rust or pitting on the blade. Some minor discoloration of the blade. It has no evidence of excessive sharpening. No nicks, or chips in the blade. Some finish wear. Minor surface pitting on the left side of the pommel. Wooden grips are nice, a few minor nicks. See photo's for condition.
This bayonet was commonly used with the Type 38 rifles/carbines and the Type 99 rifles.
