WW2 Japanese Type 30 t30 Bayonet Jinsen Last Ditch Unsharpened.

Description

Up for sale is this pristine example of a lat war Jinsen arsenal bayonet with original frog. The frog is in great solid condition with intact leather strap. The blade is late war style in completely original condition with clearly visible machining marks indicative of late war production. The edge is unsharpened with minimal wear.
The blade will not fully seat on a type 99 rifle as there is a piece of what I believe is twine lodged in the bayonet. This can be seen in the picture provided. I have chosen not to remove it as I believe is original to the bayonets history.
There is also the name “Kopea” etched into the bottom of the bayonet. Given the oxidation inside the etching it appears to be an inscription from the solider who brought it home.
