Vintage Pink Crystal Paste Art Deco Riviere Open Back Necklace. Circa 1940's.
This is from my own personal collection of 30 years. I am selling some of my favorite pieces. Being a retired entertainer, I just simply do not wear these amazing pieces anymore. Time to pass them on to a lucky someone.  This is such a classic, substantial, beautiful necklace. A light pink/lavenderish color-gorgeous!  More on the pink side than lavender. The condition is excellent, no issues. Please see pictures for measurements. The design goes all the way around, riviere style. The larger sized stones make for this to be very flattering on. It lays nicely because it has some nice weight to it. Display box is not included. I take immaculate care of all my jewelry. The condition is excellent, no issues. The back of the stone setting has a pretty swirl engraving that cradles each stone. Gold wash base metal. The spring ring clasp is silver tone, not the original. I bought most of my vintage pieces at large antique shows throughout the northwest. All stones are prong set, sparkly, clean, secure and present.  I clean and make sure all stones are in tact before leaving my home. This is not a signed piece.  I have worked in the jewelry industry my whole adult life. I know quality and pieces that flatter a woman. All my pieces up for sale were originally bought for myself. So I had to love it in order for me to buy it. This will not disappoint.  This beauty needs a new home for someone to adore and wear it as I once did. Be prepared to be showered with compliments when you wear this out. The open back stones allow for the light to sparkle through when the lights hit them-fabulous! Simply a classic, feminine, gorgeous piece of history to own and cherish.
