This early 1900s Masonic coin or token is from the Mt. Vernon Chapter No. 8 R. A. M. in Jersey City, New Jersey - a chapter no longer listed as active. One side identifies the chapter surrounding Masonic imagery. The other side hasthe words

plus images of a chisel, maul, and large ornate keystone, in the center of which is the brother's engraved mark - the letter
E
with some extra lines attached, perhaps representing other initials. This token
measures approximately 29 mm (1-1/8") in diameter and is composed of copper.
This item is in very good overall condition, with wear, signs of handling, toning, and limited soiling, and it remains very bright.
