    Description

    This vintage Masonic coin (penny or token) is from the Ionic Chapter No. 161 R. A. M. in Detroit, Michigan - a chapter no longer listed among active chapters.  The obverse identifies the chapter and has a keystone image in the center, and the reverse has the words
    ONE PENNY
    inside a circle.
    The diameter i
    s approximately 31 mm (nearly 1-1/4"), and, according to references, the composition is brass.
    This item is in very fine condition, with light wear, signs of handling, toning, and some soiling, and it remains bright.
