    Description

    Vintage Native American beaded headband / hatband.  An antique American Indian art appraiser believes this is a Ceremonial Pow Wow loom beaded tourist item made in mid 20th century. The Yakima and other plateau tribes have made these types of items to sell at dances and ceremonies.
    The band is 8 inches long and 1 inch wide. Edge beading is unfinished.
    I bought this 10 years ago at an estate sale in Seattle.
