    Description

SE-183A Triple Crystal Detector made for the Navy Department Bureau of Steam Engineering around 1916-1918 by Wireless Specialty Apparatus Company Co.
This spark era detector uses three different minerals on three separate stands.  It is
switchable between: Perikon, Galena or Silicon minerals.
Some references say this detector was used with the IP-500 Navy receivers during WW-I.
    All original minerals are intact.
The detector is on a 5.9" x 5-9" Ebonite base with no chips or corrosion.
This is a rare and highly desirable WW-I piece of spark era equipment.

Shipping: Although I have never had a Priority Mail item lost in the mail, this is a high value item and PO only gives 0 in coverage.  If you want it insured for the full amount, I estimate that it will cost about extra. If you want it insured, please let me know
    immediately
after your purchase, and I will have the PO add it separately.
