    Description

Chuandianella (Waptia) ovata from the Chengjiang biota, Chengjiang County, Yunnan Province, China.
    Lower Cambrian.
Up for sale is a small but good specimen of this rare cambrian arthropod from the Chengjiang Lagerstätten! This specimen consists of a shale matrix with a beautiful heart shaped fossil imprint on its surface!
This is a tailed bivalved shell of a soft-bodied crustacean like arthropod preserved with a good detail. The shell was skinny and soft during the animal's life and it wrinkled in a process of preservation. And these wrinkles can be visible here! Pretty amazing conservation in a
    Lagerstätten shale
    !
Great genuine material from the Chinese Cambrian Explosion!
Really nice addition to every fossil collection!
Matrix size is: 8 X 7 X 2 cm, the shell is approx 0.5 cm
