Sega Dreamcast Model 1 Complete 3.3V Samsung GD-ROM Drive Assembly-Good-Tested

Description

The Model 1 Dreamcast has two Makes of the 3.3V GD-Rom.
Samsung and Yamaha.
These are Samsung 3.3V.
These are for the Model 1 3.3V Dreamcast.
This are NOT for the Model 0 5V Dreamcast.
Each is fully tested as pictured.
I test each fully open as pictured for good play.
The Dreamcast GD-Rom in general has a bit of laser transition noise when moving from one side of the disk to the other.

************Make sure to use the exact original three short screws(Not Included) around the Disk Drive.**********
************If you jam longer screws on them you will damage the motherboard below and cause a No Video issue.***********
A Defective GD-Rom Drive can Cause Weird Dreamcast issues related to power that is Not a power board issue.
A Bad Front Controller Port also will cause a on for a few seconds/minutes then off issue where the power board is Not the issue.
Also if the Motherboard has a GD-Rom connection issue it will cause the Dreamcast to ONLY show logo.
Most weird issues with the Dreamcast are related to a Defective GD-Rom or the motherboard connection below.
Sometimes this means replacing your GD-Rom will Not fix your issue as it is a Motherboard or Front Port related issue.
