This is a Japanese WWll Army officer`s sword in combat mountings.   The blade is signed "Bishu ju Kuniyasu 尾州住国泰",

Kuniyasu lived in Nagoya city, Aichi prefecture, made swords during WWll time period and after the war.     The blade is traditional hand forged, water quenched Gendaito blade, in old polish, shows fine scratches but no rust, no stain and in good condition.       The temper line is wavy

temper and has deep temper at the point.       There is no bend, no nick, no crack and cutting edge is sharp.  The scabbard is leather covered wood scabbard, no tear, no crack, no bend and in good condition.     The handle is tight fit with silver plain mon,
tsuka-ito
wrapping is no cut, no loose also in good condition.           It measures 27+1/8" tip to the guard, 26+1/4" cutting edge, 1+1/4" width, 7.5 mm thickness at the notch and 39+1/2" in mountings.       Shipping is priority in U.S.   No international shipping.  Payment dues within 3 days auction end.
