Description
Recent Estate Purchase.Excellent restoration project. Early 20th century Katana with Snake Skin Wrapped Wood Scabbard. It has no maker markings but certanly hand-forged. See the small hammer marks on the blade's hilt. (see pics above). There is a leather cover at the scabbard's locket. The blade was not polished or sanded and not rusted or chipped. The blade locks with perfectly functional spring. This Katana is a private officer's purchase and not a common military production from WWII
Overall length is 36.75". Blade is 26" long
Reasonably Priced. Will not last!
