    Description

    For your collecting pleasure I am offering a WWII Japanese Arisaka Type 44 bayonet.
    There are perhaps three types of these, and from what I can tell, this is the first type.  Please verify this information to your satisfaction. Pictures are included for your evaluation.
    This item was removed from a bring-back Type 44 decades ago and has been sitting unused since. Condition is used with minor wear and corrosion - see pictures - I have not cleaned this item, and I suspect that some dirt will come off.
    The two mounting screws are present, and all mechanical parts are present and in original working order.
