A major general from the beginning, without the addition of the cherry emblem and identification line. The texture is a thick dark blue varnish of the plain weave dusky type. The gold stripes are a reddish substitute plated gold braid, and the cherry emblem is silver plated brass. The backing is a thick paper that imitates black leather. Condition is completely unused. No insect bites or licks on the ground, no peeling of the lining. There is no discoloration on the cherry and gold lines. Overall, 99 out of 100 points. The goods are all in the photograph.
