Gorgeous Vintage Bernardaud Limoges Pompadour Handled Cake Plate. A hard to find pattern and even harder to find cake plate. Very dainty and delicate. White porcelain background with pink and blue flowers with green leaves all around the plate. Gold flowers are mixed in with the pastel flower. Heavy gold on each handle and rim of the plate.
There are no chips, cracks or loss of gold on this plate. However, it is a used plate and thus does have some light utensil marks in the centre of the plate.
Fully marked on the reverse of the plate. Although it is a cake plate because of the handles, it can be used for many other serving dishes. Measures from handle to handle about 12". Without the handles it measures about 10 5/8" wide.
Great shine and vivid colours. Perfect for serving food on or to be displayed in your home.
