    Beautiful Condition WWII Japanese Steel Bayonet & Scabbard, Bright Blade, Double Arsenal Marked, Nice Marine Vet Bring-back From the Pacific Fighting
    DESCRIPTION:
    Scarce original WWII Japanese steel bayonet and scabbard, in excellent overall condition. Scans show it all. Blade is very bright and clean, with most of its original finish.
    BLADE HAS NICE DEEP DOUBLE ARSENAL MARKING AS SHOWN.
    Wooden grips are also in excellent condition. I am selling this just as I got it from the WWII Marine vet who served during the Pacific War fighting.
    Scabbard is in very good, clean condition, with NO DINGS OR DENTS.
    A great example of something that went through the war and conceivably was being worn and used by its owner when he met his maker. Shows only minor use, and is in nice condition for a battlefield found, combat used item. A really nice WWII Japanese bayonet, a cut above most that you will see.
    Bayonet is standard 20" long overall, blade is 15 1/2" long.
    Bayonets were a popular veteran battlefield pickup souvenir item during the island fighting in the Pacific Theatre and they are excellent collectibles today.
