Description
This vintage Masonic penny (or token) is from the Buffalo Keystone Chapter No. 71 R. A. M. in Buffalo, New York (now the Tonawanda Keystone Chapter No. 71 in Amherst). The obverse identifies the chapter, withthe words
ONE PENNY
in the center, and the reverse has three Masonic images - a spade, mallet, and textured keystone
. The composition is copper, and the diameter is
approximately 32 mm (1-1/4").
This item is in extremely fine condition, with very light actual wear, signs of handling, and attractive toning (medium brown fields with bright high points).
