Art Nouveau Egyptian Revival Slag Glass Scarab Necklace
This stunning Estate find features an authentic RARE Art Nouveau / Egyptian Revival Era Necklace. Based on the style and antique necklace clasp we are able to date this lovely item to c. 1890.  It features a gold gilt link and bar chain followed down to an affixed scarab pendant. The pendant has alternating green slag glass and filigree beads. these beads are attached to an oval pendant with a large scarab center. The scarab center is made of a jade glass and enameled detailing. Hanging from the scarab are green slag glass and filigree bead tassels. This item is in excellent condition with very minimal age appropriate wear. As to not disturb the antique value of this item, we have not cleaned it. Rather left it just as we found it.
