Antique Japanese WW2 Last Ditch Bayonet Late War with Frog.
This bayonet is in really good shape, has original finish with no fuller and only a partial edge applied. Guard is straight with the square pommel. Wooden grip is contoured but closed at the bottom. Frog is solid but has some cracks in the leather and the retention strap for the sheath is torn. Frog is stable on the sheath even without the end of the strap. Sheath is bamboo and aside from the crack the sheath is solid and structurally sound. All bands are secure and end cap is solid. Overall an excellent late war japanese bayonet. Manufactured at the Toyoda Jido Shokki Arsenal.
