    Description

    This is a juvenile 2.5 inch (along curve) eurypterus remipes from the Bertie Formation in Ilion, New York. This specimen is missing the paddles but has nice contrast with the matrix.  This is on a large squared off piece of rock. This piece is heavy and weighs 9 lbs.
    Small red marks on the piece are from a wax pencil used to mark where to cut the specimens. Removable with light scrubbing.
