This is a great high-quality low-cost in-line AGU fuse holder. We got a special deal on these and are passing the savings along. This is one of the better deals we have come across for something this well made. If you use these often, stock up!
Note: It's an installer item and the fuse is NOT included. It takes AGU fuses with a rating of up to 80 amps.
This is a common part that is used to protect amplifier power wires from a short circuit and overloads. If you're running any new power cables in your vehicle this is a must.
It's a higher end design and does what it's suppose to. The rubber booted capsule is a nice touch and keeps moisture out making it a good choice for marine use as well.
Secure connections are made with hex set screws. FYI, it's designed for professionals and does not come with the wrench. Again, there is also NO FUSE.
Make sure you have a good understanding of what you're doing! Vehicle electronics and power cables should be installed by qualified technicians. Proper wiring and mounting is the key to excellent performance and safety. Don't blow it :-)!
