    Description

    1957 - 60 Mercury Redstone Missiles / MR-3 Test Info -- Rare NASA MSFC documents
    Manila folder titled "Redstone - Mercury" and owned by James Pearson, who was the Chief of the Interim Test Stand (ITS) at Redstone Arsenal/NASA Marshall Space Flight Center.
    The Interim Test Stand was used to test Redstone Missiles (Jupiter C Rockets) and the Mercury Redstone Rockets MR-1 through MR-7 starting in 1953.
    Essentially three different items inside this manila folder:
    History of Redstone Missile manufacturing and its equivalent Jupiter C or Mercury Redstone Rocket (2 pages) and Missile and Run Numbers (dated 21 Oct 57) with page 2 having hand written entries. (4 total sheets).
    15 Mar 1960 Mercury Redstone X-Time Schedule -- 6 pages, stapled and hand signed by the Chief (J. Pearson).
    13 Jun 1960 Interim Test Stand - Flash Report - MR-3 Engine 7110A Test number 339 -- 3 pages, stapled. Includes a schematic of the ITS Lox Topping System.
