Hauff was a leading German photchemical company begun inn 1891 located in Stuttgart-Feuerbach. In 1964 it was incorporated into the newly formed Agfa-Gevaert Company.  G.Gennert (New York & Chicago) was the the sole agent selling their chemicals. Gennert Brothers Photographic Supply was founded in 1856 selling daguerreotype supplies.  In 1894 G.Gennert produced their own line of cameras and imported photo apparatus & chemicals.  The company discontinued operations in 1921.
