    Description

Catalog (5 ½” by 7 ¾”) for Kodak cameras and supplies from the Eastman Kodak Co. of Rochester, New York, from the store of Ed. N. Burdick of Westerly, Rhode Island, dated 1905. The cover features an illustration of two men developing film in what seems to be a Japanese military camp (a nod to amateur photography and the Russo-Japanese War of 1905, discussed on the first page). The first several pages discuss the advantages of the Kodak camera, recent tank improvements, and the Kodak System, as well as some newly introduced models, like the No. 2 Stereo Brownie. The rest of the 64 page booklet features illustrations of cameras, lenses, and accessories, complete with descriptions and prices. The booklet is in good condition with light to moderate wear and soiling, mostly on the cover pages (each with a vertical crease down the center from being folded). The fold is much less noticeable on the pages inside, which are generally free from soiling and damage. A very nice early Kodak camera catalog!
