and irreplaceable piece of
Barry Manilow memorabilia history! Rumbo studios is the recording studio where Barry recorded "Showstoppers"
. Rumbo is also where
other
hit records of the 80's and 90's were recorded --- Tom Petty, Roy Orbison,
Guns N' Roses,
Kiss, Fleetwood Mac,
No Doubt,
Smashing Pumpkins, + many more
)
. This photo was taken in the kitchen area of the studio facility. As far as I am aware, this photo is the original
, and I do not think any other copies exist... I imagine someone from the studio snapped it as a keepsake for the studio. Until just a few months ago, this was hanging on the wall of Rumbo,
accompanied by the numerous gold and platinum records awarded to the studio.
Rumbo Studios was
originally built and owned by Daryl Dragon of Captain and Tennille for 20+ years
.
The photo is in good condition, but does have some discolored spots in a few areas, along with some wear around the edges. It also has an overall bend to it, along with some bends at the corners. Lastly, there is a piece of double-sided tape on the back side.
Comes as shown. No other accessories included.
